Pricing

Unlike most hospitals and medical clinics, we value fair and upfront pricing. The prices of medical services at hospitals are often intentionally concealed and shrouded for their own economic gain. Even so-called “non-profit” hospitals generate millions in profit each year by gouging patient’s pocketbooks all while escaping corporate taxes. At Yukon Neurology, we pledge to never charge exorbitant prices for our services and publish our fees here online.

Patients with health insurance (including Medicare):
Copayments are due at the time of service. That amount is applied to your bill. We charge 1.5x the Medicare rate for all services. This is almost always adjusted and reduced down based on the our contracted fee schedule with each insurance company. For Medicare patients, the rate is always adjusted down to exactly the Medicare rate for each service. We take the loss on this adjustment in all cases. The insurance company then pays their part. Any residual coinsurance or deductible amounts are then the patient’s responsibility. This is all determined by the insurance company and completely dependent on the specific policy. There are 1,000’s of different insurance policies with subtle variations in the state of Oklahoma.  We have no control over this process and we are usually unable to predict these things in advance. We encourage every patient to fully understand their individual policy.

Self-pay patients:
While insurance companies create chaos and confusion, whenever we can eliminate them from the process, things are very clear and straightforward. We offer very deeply discounted rates on all our services for patients that do not have insurance. Even some patients with insurance choose our self-pay rates because their policy may have a very high deductible and our rates result in tremendous savings.

Our self-pay rates are as follows:

New Patient Consultation: $175
Established Patient Consultation: $100
Electroencephalogram (EEG): $300
Nerve Conduction Study/Electromyogram (NCS/EMG): $300
Neuropsychology testing: $200
Occipital Nerve Block: $100
Botox: $10 per unit
